adj. New and different, often fashionably so
the point in time that recognizes new ways of living are based on the interplay of these two words. the most individual person alive today is noticeably excessive in a couple of qualities: they aren't cheap to themselves or others, they're good looking physically or otherwise, they live far apart from each other, they remain connected through magick gates and technical forms of communication, they're actions reverb in the greater web of cultural manifestations around them, and they are at once recognized for their genius, often in direct relation to their isolation with their fellows, in negative proportion to their participation with them. this is what i call cachet nouveau. these kinds of people are not easily found, and not easily kept: they have too much to do, too many places to explore, and too much love to unfurl. it's impossible to find cachet in any advertised medium, just as the truly nouveau can never be lifted from the veil of isis. as the cachet nouveau has nothing to fear from the former, as what makes them different is not something one can buy, place they go, or clothing they wear- its something that exudes as an impeccable presence and immortalizing effigy of excitement. i call these spirits: LVX, light in extension. autonomous. their society has an open door policy. ideally. you cannot join them. wonderfully. you can only dare abundently into the serendipity of LVX.
