if you think the bush regime would use the information gleaned from this massive spying operation to plan their 04 election strategy i say that would seem true to part.
I agree with you.
I also wonder — constantly — about my fellow American citizens, whose sense of “outrage” is limited only to political figures who perpetrate minor “sexual indiscretions.”
We’re all potentially being SPIED ON, for Pete’s sake!
But the clueless American public, or a sizeable portion of it, doesn’t seem to care—after all, “Bush wasn’t having an AFFAIR, was he? Or reading pornography, RIGHT?” The “moral outrages” of under-developed spirits, surely… (And IF some government agent IS listening, “Go screw yourself...”)
